Johanna Willig Rosenstein was born in France in 1995. She started dancing at the conservatory of Dijon at the age of 13, in the section of contemporary dance. Simultaneously, she studied literature up to her high-school diploma.
She appeared in several projects such as “Don Giovani” at the Auditorium of Dijon. After obtaining her choreographic diploma in 2014, she decided to travel and study in Israel.
She spent a year in the Dance Journey Program of the Kibbutz contemporary dance company. She then moved to Tel Aviv to complete her learning at the Maslool Bikurey Ha’itim School. After taking advantage of the opportunity to work with the kibbutz contemporary dance company, she decided to come back to Europe and joined the young company of The Marchepied in Lausanne, in 2016.
In 2017, she began to work with the Cie Alias in Geneva with the choreographer Guilherme Botelho. She danced several of his pieces – Antes, Sidewaysrain and Contre Monde – in Poland, Argentina, Lithuania and Paris…
